The sun is coming back to us and it’s finally dry enough to go outside again. Which means it’s time to plan your spring and fall Seattle mini sessions for 2024! Dates and times are listed below but are, as always, subject to weather.

What’s a Mini Session?

Simply put, mini sessions are just shorter photo sessions. Lasting just 20 minutes, they’re perfect for updated photos or for those on a budget. Mini sessions are $300+tax for 20 minutes with 10-20 images included. Sessions are seasonal and at set locations and times. I also offer a 15% discount on full sessions for mini clients who book a full session within 12 months.

Spring: Cherry Blossom Mini Sessions

I say this every year, but these are genuinely my favourite. I look forward the blossoms every year and obsessively track when full bloom is coming. Sharing the beauty of spring with these ephemeral flowers is an absolute joy. Come don your pretty spring outfits and play under the trees with me!

West Seattle: March 23-24, 2024 : 8-10AM

Taking place at my favourite overlook in West Seattle, these mini sessions offer cherry blossoms and city views! The overlook is also much more secluded, meaning we get lots more room to run and play.

UW Quad: Mar 30-31, 2024 : 7:30-9AM

When you think of cherry blossoms, you think of the Quad. Wake up early with me, beat the crowds, and get photos in the most gorgeous spot in Seattle!

Fall: Beach Mini Sessions

There’s nothing more Seattle than fall photos at the beach. West Seattle has the two most gorgeous beaches in the city and there’s nowhere more perfect than Alki and Lincoln Park. Both offer beautiful views (Alki of Seattle, Lincoln Park of Puget Sound) and a vibe that’s quintessentially Seattle.

Alki Beach Mini Sessions: Sept 28-29, 2024 : 7:30-9:30AM

There’s nothing like playing on the beach. Alki is my happy place and I love these sessions every year. No matter what the weather brings, whether it’s Fool’s Summer or Actual Fall, these are always a joy.

Lincoln Park Beach Mini Sessions: Sept 27-29, 2024 : 6:30-8PM

When West Seattle people want photos, they want them at Lincoln Park. And with good reason! The views of the Sound are unparalleled, from the water to the views of Vashon and the ferries. For those who like to explore, there’s driftwood for climbing and jumping, and rocks for skipping.
