An adventure-seeking homebody, I’m as at home down a dirt road as I am in a bustling city. An anthropologist in a previous life, I cherish getting to know people and telling their stories.
Whether you’re adventuring to Montana for the first time or snuggling together at home, I’m here to document it all, digitally and on 35mm and Super 8 film!

Local Knowledge
If you want someone who knows Montana like the back of her hand, I’m your gal! I moved to Montana in 2003 and have explored all over this great state of ours. I know all the good spots for family photos to fit any vibe in every season.
Creativity
I’ve spent years perfecting my editing style with bright, warm colours that are true-to-life while mimicking the look of film; I’ve even brought 35mm film photography back into my repertoire!
Experience
I’m a world-class people-wrangler and know how to keep everyone on task. I can roll with the punches in every situation, put everyone at ease, and never make getting your photos taken feel like a high-stakes job interview! I’ve seen it all and keep cooler than cool under pressure. Photography is about far more than just taking pretty pictures — it’s knowing how to capture the love people have for each other and what makes them unique!
Patience
My phototography philosophy relies heavily on the idea of positive discipline and respect for everyone of every age. Is your kid not into being tossed in the air? That’s fine, we’ll choose another game! Are they having trouble concentrating? We’ll take a break and have a little chat and get back to it. I’m from a huge Irish family and have worked with kids my whole life, including as a Japanese immersion preschool teacher. You never have to worry about your kids “behaving” around me!
Inclusion
Inclusion is a huge passion of mine. I want to ensure every family of every constellation and ability has amazing family photos and is accurately represented in photos (no washed out skin tones here!). Need a wheelchair accessible location? Can’t hike very far? I make sure every location works for your family. Are you or one of your family members autistic or do they have ADHD? Me too. I’ve struggled for years to find neurodiverse-affirming photographers for my own family. Please reach out and let me know how to make everyone comfortable. Whether your disability is visible or invisible, we’ll make sure you get those wall-worthy family photos.
