I have degrees in Sociology, History, and a grad degree in International Studies, plus a lifetime of travel and experience living abroad. I also speak eight languages (English, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Irish, and Greek). If it’s important to your identity, we’ll capture it in a respectful, artful way.

After you email me to inquire about your date, I’ll email you back with my in-depth pricing guide and a link to schedule a zoom call (or in-person chat, if you’d prefer and you’re local to Missoula!). We’ll chat a bit about who I am, what I do, and how I do it, plus give you space to ask questions about me and my work. Next, we’ll go through some galleries to ensure you connect with my work and know exactly what you can expect to receive. Last, we’ll go over my contract so everyone is on the same page, discussing expectations, pricing, and payment, so nothing is a surprise when you sign.

My couples generally invest at least $5,000 in wedding photography. Photography is one of the most important things you can spend your money on for your wedding day, and the old axiom is true — you really do get what you pay for. Wedding photography is so much more than just snapping pictures — it’s helping you plan your day, making sure you look amazing on camera, herding cats to keep everyone on schedule, it’s care for your relatives and making sure you get those perfect shots with them, it’s attention to detail in capturing every facet of your wedding. You’re paying not just for incredible images that are full of life, love, and emotion, you’re paying for experience and expertise. And there’s no substitute for that.

Do you remember sitting down with your friends and their parents would embarass them by flipping through the family photo albums? Remember the look of film in those photos? There’s a timelessness to film that is unlike any other, and my style effortlessly replicates that feeling so you and your family will always have that nostalgic feel to your memories. Is water wet? Absolutely! I travel all over Montana and the Pacific Northwest (where I lived for 12 years and know inside and out), including Alaska. Want to bring me someone further out? Send me an email!

Super 8 wedding videos take at least 4 weeks after I receive them from the lab, which is usually about a month after your wedding day. Average return time is 7-10 weeks from your wedding date.
